We started Petra Lab-X in 1989 because the brands we admired were forced to choose between a chemist they could call by name and a factory that could ship at scale.

Thirty-seven years later, we still believe that's a false choice. One floor. One chain of custody. R&D, regulatory, and production sit within two hundred feet of each other, because the only way to ship something genuinely new — at one kilogram or fifty thousand — is for those three rooms to read each other's notes.
